The web3 ecosystem is witnessing a surge in startup pitch competitions and venture capital activity at conferences, with several major events taking place this year.
At the recent Blockchain Summit in Miami on March 25-26, over 2,000 attendees gathered to network and learn about the latest trends in blockchain technology. The summit featured a Web3 Pitch Competition, where six startups competed for a $100,000 investment from venture capital firm VCX Ventures.

Meanwhile, at the Web3 Conference in San Francisco on April 10-11, a record-breaking 1,500 attendees gathered to discuss the future of decentralized applications (dApps) and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The conference featured a Startup Pitch Competition, where nine startups vied for a $200,000 investment from Union Square Ventures.
